It seems like Inspector Ahmed Twumasi's name is still making rounds on social media, even weeks after he committed the horrendous crime of shooting his girlfriend, Maa Adwoa, six times and killing her. The motive behind this brutal act was allegedly due to her infidelity and owing him money.
Ever since this tragic incident was reported, almost all Ghanaians have been discussing Inspector Ahmed Twumasi's name and his actions.
Now, a new and shocking report has emerged that claims that Inspector Ahmed's real name is Samuel Darko, also known as Sammy, and that he was a pupil teacher before joining the police service. This report also suggests that he might have used someone else's details and certificate to join the police force.
Furthermore, it is said that Inspector Ahmed grew up in Nsuta, where he is quite well-known. Apparently, his late mother was a pastor at Nusta Bethany Church. Additionally, it is speculated that after he joined the police service, he left his first wife, with whom he has two children - a girl who is currently in SHS and a boy who is still in JHS.
There may be some truth to this new report, as it is mentioned in an audio clip that was circulated after the incident, where a woman addressed him as Mr. Darko instead of Inspector Ahmed Twumasi.
