Is Prof Frimpong-Boateng's son involved in Galamsey? Gordon Asare-Bediako reminds the former Minister

Gordon Asare-Bediako, a well-known broadcaster, recently raised concerns about Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, the former Minister of Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation, for allegedly ignoring allegations of his son's involvement in galamsey.

According to Mr. Asare-Bediako, Jojo Frimpong-Boateng, Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng's biological son, is deeply involved in galamsey, but his father has remained tight-lipped about it. Mr. Asare-Bediako made this statement on Movement TV and later in an interview on Wontumi TV.

In his criticism of Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, Mr. Asare-Bediako questioned why he had not publicly denied the allegations against his son.

He also advised the prominent heart surgeon not to think of himself as superior to others in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and reminded him that the party had previously supported him. Mr. Asare-Bediako further challenged Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng's political ambitions by asking how many votes he received when he contested for the NPP leadership in 2007.

Despite acknowledging Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng's achievements in the medical field, Mr. Asare-Bediako urged him to stop acting as if he is more intelligent than anyone in Ghana or the world.

Mr. Asare-Bediako reminded Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng that while he may have excelled as a heart surgeon, his silence on his son's alleged involvement in galamsey has tarnished his reputation in the eyes of the public.

Note that all these are speculations from Gordon Asare-Bediako without concrete evidence.
