Nana Romeo explained that he had been friends with the prophet and had helped him gain notoriety in the media. When Prophet Nigel Gaisie was still relatively unknown, Nana Romeo granted him his first major interview at Monroe FM, where he discussed his infamous prophecy about the death of Ebony Reigns.
Following this interview, the prophet became a trending topic, and he expressed his gratitude towards Nana Romeo. The two became close friends, and Nana Romeo continued to help him by promoting his church and connecting him with gospel musicians.
Nana Romeo had a girlfriend at the time who was very good to him and was sponsoring him. He confided in Prophet Nigel Gaisie about her, as they were close like brothers. However, unbeknownst to Nana Romeo, the prophet had developed an interest in his girlfriend and began to flirt with her in secret.
Junior pastors of the prophet later informed Nana Romeo about this secret relationship, and he was enraged. He drove to Prophet Nigel Gaisie's house in East Legon, but was stopped by the security guard at the entrance.
This ultimately saved the prophet from Nana Romeo's wrath, as he had intended to discipline him. After this incident, Prophet Nigel Gaisie sent Nana Romeo a text message apologizing for his actions. Even to this day, Nana Romeo still feels the pain of losing his girlfriend to a married man who he helped to gain fame.
