American comedian Dave Chapelle said that the HipHop superstar Jay Z, who has won many awards, has invested in real estate in Ghana.
Chapelle talked about the rapper's visit to Ghana at an event in Ghana on Thursday. He said that the rapper recently showed him pictures of the said properties when he told him about his trip to Ghana.
Olele Salvador, an entertainment journalist who was at the event at the University of Ghana before the Black Star Line concert, tweeted the news.
His wrote, "At the meeting with Dave Chapelle, there were two big surprises: Dave Chapelle says that Jay Z, a hip-hop artist who has won several Grammys, owns property in Ghana.
"When Jay Z asked him to go to Ghana with him, he showed him pictures of the properties," he said the comic said.
Since January 3, Chapelle has been in Ghana. He is expected to play at the much-anticipated Black Star Line Festival, which will take place on January 6, 2023, at Accra's Black Star Square.
