Joe Jackson applauds Togbe Afede for 'speaking up' and not being afraid

Joe Jackson, who is the Chief Operations Officer of Dalex Finance, has backed Togbe Afede XIV, a former member of the Council of State, for what he wrote about the current economic crisis.

Mr. Jackson says that the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State said clearly what many people have been afraid to say.

"I just want to praise Togbe for saying it so clearly and putting it all together without being afraid of whose ox is gored," he said on TV3's Midday Live on Monday, December 12.

"And it's important for us to speak up at this time in this country's history."

He said that as a person who has benefited from "good" Ghana, it is important for the problems in Ghanaian society to be brought to light, just as Togbe Afede XIV has done.

"We should all speak out against the problems we see," he said.

He said that the former President of the National House of Chiefs might have said things differently, but that what he said was the truth.

"Togbe, I applaud you.

I thank them for speaking up and tell them, "Congratulations."

Togbe Afede XIV’s piece titled ‘Our Self-Inflicted Monumental Crisis’ expresses the “frightening” state of the country, laying the blame at the doorstep of the current government.
