Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central.

He said that the loud lawmaker hasn't done much to deserve the power he has in the party.
In an interview with Joy News, Nyaho-Tamakloe said that Kennedy Agyapong is someone in the NPP who "makes noise."
He asked Kennedy Agyapong if he was really committed to the party and told him to come out and say what he had done for the party.
The former diplomat said that, unlike Kennedy Agyapong, people like Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan Kyerematen, and Kwabena Agyepong have a history of stepping up when the party needs them to.
"I don't know anyone in the party named Kennedy Agyapong. Someone I know makes a lot of noise at parties, but I don't know Kennedy Agyapong. We keep giving people compliments, but what has he done for the party? He should just say it. I know all of the people I've named and what they've done for the party.
"He might have done something for the party, in which case he should step forward. I have no idea what he did for the party. All the people I mentioned, including Bawumia, have definitely done something for the party," he said.
Kennedy Agyapong has made it official that he wants to run as the NPP's candidate in the 2024 elections.
Agyapong wants to take over as leader of the NPP from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo before the 2024 elections.
Trade and Industry Minister Alan Kyerematen, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, and Agric Minister Owusu Afriyie Akoto are all well-known candidates. None of them has said for sure what they want to do.
