Kenyan Politician Makes Fun Of Ghana Over Meek Mill Saga: Nkrumah Must Be Rolling

A Kenyan politician named Winnie Odinga didn't like the fact that the American rapper Meek Mill went to the Jubilee House. She thought that what the rapper did during his visit was rude to the president.

Ms. Odinga called the episode "crazy" because the rapper used words that were not African while he was filming at the presidency. She also said that the visit was an insult to the first African country to get its own government, which would have made Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah roll over in his grave.

A Kenyan politician named Winnie Odinga was upset about what happened between the American rapper Meek Mill and Ghana.

In a tweet on January 11, 2023, she said that the situation was "just nuts" and that it was unacceptable for a musician to shoot a music video at the President's office while using offensive language, especially in the Presidential Podium of the first African nation to gain independence.

She also said that Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of Ghana, would have been unhappy with what was going on.

After what happened, Meek Mill apologized to the people of Ghana and the president of Ghana for the footage that was in his music video.

Meek Mill, an American rapper, took down a promotional post he had shared on Instagram and said that the presidency of Ghana did not know he was filming there when he went there.

The President's daughter, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, was in charge of setting up the visit. But the government has been criticized for letting this kind of security breach happen at the most secure place in the country.
