Kweku Annan, a former employee of the Kencity Broadcasting network, has disparaged Kennedy Agyepong, the company's owner, as being a nobody.

Mr. Annan claims that Mr. Agyepong is merely a brash individual who doesn't stand for anything.

Mr. Annan, who once hosted Mr. Agyapong on the political chat show "Boiling Point" on Net 2 TV, has also said that Mr. Agyapong is hollow.

In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on the Accra-based radio station Kingdom Fm, Mr. Annan referred to the Member of Parliament for Assin Central as being reckless and using blackmail to help his party obtain the nomination for president.

After the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) decided to audit his businesses, the honourable Member of Parliament allegedly threatened the party. According to him, this was just one of his strategies for maintaining influence.

The obviously incensed Journalist further demanded that Mr. Agyepong stop talking and stop threatening the party.

Mr. Annan questioned, "Why didn't he threaten the party or expose them till now?

His dubious ethics and credibility are at stake, Mr. Annan continued.

Mr. Annan utilised innuendos in the beginning of his submission during the radio interview before being prodded by the host to specifically identify who he was alluding to.

Several people appear to have been astonished when he mentioned Mr. Agyepong as the person he was referring to for a variety of reasons.

First of all, Ken Agyepong is regarded as brutal and terrifying. Second, Kweku Annan used to work for the Assn. Central MP, where he invited Mr. Agyepong to discuss current events, some of which led to insults from Mr. Agyepong.

Kennedy Agyepong is unable to criticise the party in any way. He questioned, What has he been doing there all this time to suggest he will blow up the party over how they won the 2020 elections.

However in response to this event, the CEO of Peace Watch Ghana, Madam Diana Nyakopah Daniels, thinks that the Mr. Annan’s outburst towards Mr. Agyepong is the end product of the seed planted by the MP.

She explained her stance by claiming that Mr. Agyepong is notorious for verbally harassing individuals from all walks of life and that his former employee's comments might be the perfect punishment for this behaviour.

Notwithstanding this, Madam Daniels, all insults of the sort should be deplored and not rewarded.

In an interview with The Herald, Madam Nyakopah Daniels stated that those in positions of trust and the public should refrain from insulting one another.

As you can see, incidents like these shouldn't occur. I have always been against insults because of this. My concern is that people won't accept it as the usual. She admonished, My advice goes to the political players specifically.

She insisted that everyone in Ghana should take note of what is occurring and said that no one could have predicted that Kwaku Annan would one day disparage his former employer.
