Blessed Godsbrain Smart, a radio host, said that President Akufo-Addo let the whole country down after they put their trust in him.
Captain Smart has said that President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done such a bad job that even the mosquitoes in his hometown are mad at him.
Captain Smart said on his show Maakye on Thursday, January 19, 2023, that most Ghanaians had a lot of faith in Akufo-Addo to help Ghana get out of its problems.
But, he said, how things turned out was kind of sad.
"Nana Addo, you've upset everyone, even Kyebi mosquitoes, because if they laugh, you'll drain their blood," he said.
His comment comes from the fact that individual bondholders are part of the Domestic Debt Exchange program run by the President.
On the other hand, Captain Smart says that the President can't be blamed too much because most of the people he picks to run the country don't know much about it.
He also said that looking at the ministers would show how bad the people he chose are.
"It's not your fault that you didn't hang out with smart people. "One day I'll look at all of your ministers, and you'll see that some of them don't deserve to be my cleaner," he said.
