In Rivers State, a woman named Perpetual Onyekachi was arrested for killing her husband, Okoro Ndukwu Okoro, with a knife.
It was said that the event happened on November 10 in the Okposi Omoku community in the ONELGA (Ogba–Egbema–Ndoni Local Government Area) of the state.
Before they got married, they were said to have been best friends since middle school. An eyewitness said that the couple had a fight Thursday morning that their friends tried to solve.
He said that the reconciliation meeting didn't work because Perpetual and her husband went back to fighting, and she stabbed him in the stomach as a result.
He said that Okoro was rushed to the hospital to get help, but he died there. After that, the wife was given to the police officers at the Omoku police division.
