Lady Dies Suddenly On The Morning of Her Wedding

Wed, 11 Jan 2023 Source: Club Mate

A fantasy wedding bride died. MyLondon said that the East London woman died abruptly on the morning of her dream Trinidad wedding.

Her upset spouse and sister called Nadia Joseph-Gosine "beautiful," "caring," and "happy." She died of liver disease on December 7, 2022. The 33-year-old Beckton woman married Devon Gosine, 37, in Trinidad.

She died hours before her wedding while sleeping next to her fiancé after spending a few weeks in the country with Devon and her 10-year-old son Emari.

Isha Daley, 37, Nadia's distraught sister, knew she had liver and renal issues but thought she had recovered.

Isha told MyLondon that Nadia was 'a mini rebel' and very vibrant and feisty'.

She sought happiness. firecracker. Beautiful. Amazing. She enjoyed life and travel.

Devon, Nadia's fiancé, told MyLondon she was "the kindest, caring, and honest person" and the light of his life.

'She would go all out for you and she was the most hard-working,' he said from Trinidad, crying. Always cheerful. She never complained. She was my soulmate. She was my life's best.

"I'm constantly reminded of what happened," he said. I'm still amazed. We were finally married.

We were preparing for life and it was taken away. It was the hardest. Devon says he and Nadia talked late the night before their wedding after friends wished them well.

Devon assumed Nadia was apprehensive about the big day and couldn't sleep.

He cuddled her and she went asleep, but when he woke up at 2 am and kissed her on the cheek, she was unresponsive.

He called for aid, but paramedics spent 45 minutes trying to revive Nadia without success.

Devon stated it happened suddenly. "At least she didn't suffer."

Nadia's death was unexpected, but Isha, an NHS worker, said physicians warned her liver was so damaged she would have died two weeks later even with medical intervention.

Devon is raising Emari, Nadia's kid, in Trinidad. Emari's father is estranged.

Isha said she would look after Emari in London with her 16-year-old daughter and is raising money to book his journey home and cremate his mother. Nadia died without travel or life insurance.

Isha said Emari hasn't absorbed his mother's loss yet, but 'he does know mom is no longer here and everyone keeps him distracted'.

Isha told MyLondon that she is in "hopeful denial" and won't accept her loss until Nadia returns home.
