Love is scam, consider only men with more money – Bride advises single ladies

Love scams have become increasingly prevalent in Ghana. This has become an issue that plagues the population of single women, with many cases of scammers impersonating potential love interests to gain access to financial information or money.

Recently, a Ghanaian bride used her own experience to issue a warning to single ladies who are in search of love. Her advice? Consider only men with more money.

The bride, who married a wealthy man, warned young Ghanaian women to stay away from men who are short on cash. She believes that the risks of being scammed are much higher when a woman is dealing with a man who is “short on cash” because they might be looking for vulnerable women to scam.

She argued that men who have money are more likely to have a legitimate source of income as well as be more committed to the relationship and not just seeking to exploit a woman financially.

The bride shared that she had been scammed a few times early on in her search for a partner. She said that the majority of the men she encountered were not seeking real relationships, merely ways to make quick cash, and that’s why she ultimately chose a man with money over those without.

The bride’s advice caused mixed reactions amongst Ghanaians. Some agreed with her words and thought she was giving wise advice while others found her opinion to be offensive and objectifying.

No matter which side of the argument you take, it is worth noting that the potential of being scammed is real. It is important that single women are aware of this, so that they can take the necessary steps to ensure their safety.

These steps can include researching potential partners and meeting them in public spaces. It is also a good idea to keep your personal and financial information private, as it can be used to manipulate you and access funds if it falls into the wrong hands.

Ultimately, it is important to choose a partner who is responsible and trustworthy. Taking the time to really get to know someone and build a strong relationship based on mutual respect and trust can help to ensure true love without the risk of being scammed.
