MP Challenges Foreign Countries: Should LGBTQI+ Rights Be Treated Like Armed Robbery and Jihadism?

Samuel Nartey George, the Member of Parliament representing Ningo-Prampram, said ‘If LGBTQI+ is a human rights issue, allow armed robbers and Jihadists to operate in your countries’ according to a publication by Rainbow Radio Online.

He expressed his belief that the argument that homosexuality is a human rights issue and individuals who identify as such should be allowed to express themselves is a weak and unsuccessful argument.

During a telephone interview on Rainbow Radio 92.4Fm in the United Kingdom, Mr. Nartey George compared this argument to one that would justify allowing armed robbers and other criminals to steal and rob others because they claim they are hungry.

He believes that such arguments do not make sense and that if people use this logic, then prostitutes should also be allowed to engage in criminal acts. Mr. Nartey George stated that society must operate under laws and norms that are accepted by the majority of people.

While he acknowledges that there will always be deviants in any society, he argues that tolerating deviants is the start of society's decline.

He was responding to Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris' statement that homosexuality is a human rights issue.

Mr. Nartey George considers homosexuality to be a threat to human life, public health, and a tax burden due to the negative effects of same-sex activities.
