Godknows Tamakloe, a 22-year-old man who doesn't have a job, has been arrested because he is thought to have killed David Korbla Klutsey.
Godknows, who lives in Agbozume in Ketu South, is accused of helping his stepbrother, Remember Tamakloe, stab the victim, David, on October 20, 2022, after a fight about GH-30.
Later, on October 23, David died at a hospital where he was getting medical care.
Police Chief Inspector Esperance Agbo told the Agbozume Magistrate's Court, which was led by Mr. Issah Iddrisu, "Remember sold a cell phone to the dead and was left with a GH30 balance."
He said that Remember and Godknows went to David to get the money. A fight broke out between them, and the suspect fell to the ground after David slapped him.
Chief Inspector Agbo says that in the chaos that followed, Godknows grabbed the victim from behind while Remember stabbed him.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died a few days later. The prosecutor said that the stepbrother was arrested and taken to the police station.
Godknows will go to court for the fourth time on December 20. He was first charged on October 23, 2022.
On the other hand, Rember Tamakloe is on the run after what happened.
The body of the dead person has been put in the mortuary at Sacred Heart Hospital in Abor while it waits for an autopsy.
