A video posted on Instagram claims that the man didn't realize how much he had spent until he printed his bank statement.
The man laboriously read through the statement in the Instagram video that @thatblackbwoyy posted on Sunday, November 4. He then wiped what appeared to be tears from his eyes.
In the video, it was made clear that the man frequently places bets and is known locally as the betting king.
The assertion was not verified, but the man then sat down on the ground in what seemed to be a troubling circumstance.
Instagram users questioned whether the man was actually holding a bank statement.
