Minister of State in Charge of Finance at the Office of the President, Charles Adu-Boahen has allegedly cited Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President as needing about US$ 200,000 as appearance fees to get the backing of government in establishing a business in Ghana.

The Minister also alleged that the Vice President will require that his siblings are pushed into positions of influence by an investor seeking to do business in the country before that business could materialize.

This revelation was revealed by award-winning investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas in his latest corruption Expose’ titled “Galamsey Economy”.

The latest expose’, according to Anas sheds light on the so-called gatekeepers and big men in authority whose actions and greed has landed the country into the current economic quagmire.

Just a few hours before the screening of his most recent undercover exposé, the renowned investigative journalist wrote on his Facebook timeline that when his Tiger Eye PI team met with the Minister of State responsible for Finance in the United Arab Emirates, UAE, he stated that the Vice President would need an appearance fee of only USD 200,000 and would also need to support their investment in order to make himself available to the undercover investigators who posed as investors.

“You mean, like appearance fees and stuff? I mean he, himself (the Vice President), if you give him some (USD) 200,000 or something as a token, as thank you, appreciation, that’s fine. He’s not really, he’s not really (like) that. All he needs is to worry about his campaign money in 2020,” Charles Adu Boahen said when he was asked how an investor can get the attention of the Vice President.
