Mob Attacks And Kills A Patient In An Ambulance
The Gauteng province health department says that a group of people attacked and killed a patient in an ambulance because they thought he had done something wrong.
The crowd also hurt the ambulance and the paramedics who were helping the patient in the Atteridgeville area.
After a mob attacked the man and hurt him, people called for help, and paramedics came. At the scene, they started giving the patient care and got ready to take him or her to the nearest hospital.
"As the ambulance was getting ready to leave the scene, people in the neighborhood started throwing stones and blocking the road so the ambulance couldn't leave... The health department said in a statement that the people wanted justice right away.
"Unfortunately, the patient was attacked again and killed while on an ambulance stretcher," the report said. A lot of damage was done to the ambulance, and medical equipment was taken."
