A Nyeri teacher was caught by her area chief chewing behind classrooms on Saturday.
It was said that the teacher, who was only known as Kamau, was interested in the chief, who was said to be a father of three.
A person who saw it happen said that Kamau jumped off the school fence, which is right next to the chief's office.
He said that he didn't think anything strange would happen after he thought Kamau was doing his job at school.
"From far away, I could see two people leaning on classroom walls," he said.
He said that he moved closer to the school because it was Saturday and the students weren't there.
"On Saturdays, only the teacher who is on duty and maybe the head teacher come to school. He said, "I didn't think I'd find Kamau and the chief stuck while they were eating the forbidden fruit."
He also said that when he got to the school, the two lovers were on the ground, trying to get away from each other.
He said that when he got there, the two people started yelling for help. "Uuuwi, niokoeni," he said, adding that one of the boda boda drivers who came right away knew the families of the two people in love.
He said that one of the drivers was overheard saying that he took the chief's husband to a traditional healer named Dr. Ndumba Wa Ndumba, who he thought had broken up the couple's marriage.
After the Chief's husband got there, Dr. Ndumba Wa Ndumba separated the two.
"After he was helped to carry them into one of the classrooms, he told everyone to leave the scene."
Another person who saw what happened said that they heard Kamau beg for forgiveness from the Chief's husband and promise to never do it again.
