Nana Ampofo, who runs the mid-morning show "Ay3 Hu" on Accra's Hot 93.9 FM, says that most men from the Ewe tribe are not to blame.
The tireless host says that most of the women who bring lifestyle and family stories to his show do so because their husbands don't take care of their nuclear families. He also says that most of these men are from the Ewe tribe.
During a self-driven interview with a woman on the show, Nana Ampofo asked the alleged victim of a crime to name the person she thought was responsible. The woman said that her man's name was Cudjoe.
The host was annoyed by the name and asked why the names of tribes kept coming up on his lifestyle radio show.
"Most of the cases that come to my show happen because Ewe men don't do what men should do every day." He said.
He said again that Ewe men are not the only ones who have made these kinds of claims, but that their cases on the Accra-based radio station are becoming more and more open.
Nana Ampofo sounded very disgusted as he asked the elders of that tribe to tell their men to be responsible so that he wouldn't have to keep saying that their men weren't doing their daily jobs on his show.
Ay3 Hu is a show on Hot 93.9 FM that airs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday.
