A shooting took the lives of a mother and her young daughter.
At 7:50 p.m. on Monday, Nova Bereton, her 18-month-old daughter, her mother Sashell Elliot, and her father Akiel Bereton were at No. 2 Fort George, Indian Walk, Princes Town, in Elliot's parlor.
When a Toyota Aqua pulled up, a man with a gun shot all three of them, hurting them all.
The mother and daughter both died after they were taken to the Princes Town Health Facility.
Brereton is getting care at the hospital.
The police found the car used in the murder on Crawford Street in Ste. Madeleine.
