Tina Korangel, who sells charcoal, said that her family has stopped her from talking to her son who lives abroad and has even told him that she is dead.

Tina said in an interview on Daily Hustle on SVTV Africa that she hasn't talked to her son in 20 years, after she left her abusive husband and moved away.

Madam Tina admitted that after the divorce, she didn't talk to her ex-husband. When her son went to the U.S., he was told that his mother had died.

"This is a long tale. After we broke up, I didn't try to get in touch with them. Later. I heard that my son had tied the knot with a white woman. My family planned to do that. They stopped him from trying to get in touch with him.

I heard he called one of my sister's kids, but they told him I was dead.

He stopped calling because of this. My ex-husband gave my family back home his phone number, but they didn't give it to me. He should already be 37 years old. "He traveled about 19 years ago," she told DJ Nyaami.

Tina said again that she hasn't heard from her son since he went to another country and would like to. Kwame Safo was the name she gave to her son.
