Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, who is the Ashanti Regional Chair of the New Patriotic Party, has called Fifi Kwetey the "father of all liars."
Chairman Wontumi, who is in charge of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said that Fifi Kwetey got votes to become General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because he was a good liar, not because he did anything "sensible."
"Fifi Kwetey's name makes me think of lies. He lied about former President John Kufuor, and he later told the vetting committee of Parliament that he had no proof when he said that the NPP government had stolen gold from the central vault. This guy is the king of all liars, and it's embarrassing that the NDC voted for him. "He is replacing an old liar who has been made chairman," Chairman Wontumi said.
