Dennis Amofa, an assistant Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kwabre East, has shared his experience of being slapped by Kwaku Duah and his girlfriend during the recent Kumawu by-election. Amofa clarified that he was wrongly accused by the independent candidate of distributing money to voters, when his actual role was to assist voters at the polling station. According to Amofa, he was confronted by Kwaku Duah and his girlfriend while he was at a urinal, where they threatened and accused him of sharing money. The altercation escalated, resulting in Duah attempting to slap Amofa, which caused damage to his phone. Amofa reported the incident to his superiors and subsequently filed a police report. Although he remained calm during the confrontation, witnesses confirmed the actions of Kwaku Duah, his girlfriend, and their aide. The matter is now in the hands of the police.
