Okyeame Quophi, the spouse of Stacy Amoateng, a media personality, has refuted claims that his wife is the individual being sued alongside Nana Romeo in a lawsuit initiated by Prophet Nigel Gaisie.
Last week, Nigel filed a lawsuit against Nana Romeo, also known as Abdul Karim, at the High Court in Amasaman. The lawsuit was based on an allegation that the clergyman had slept with Romeo's girlfriend.
During an interview on Restoration, a program hosted by Stacy Amoateng, Romeo alleged that Nigel had an affair with his girlfriend despite being aware that they were in a relationship.
Romeo went on to say that he was asked about the most painful memories he had. Nigel, who dismissed the accusation as false, also filed a lawsuit against Stancy Amoateng in addition to Romeo.
It is assumed that Nigel was referring to Stacy Amoateng, the host of Restoration, as Stancy. However, Okyeame Quophi, who is also a presenter on Angel Fm, claimed that his wife is not called Stancy and cannot be the individual sued by Nigel.
In a video of him speaking on Angel Fm, he said that perhaps Nigel had sued Stancy, and the name on the writ of summons must be the person's name for the summons to be legitimate. He further stated that Stacy is currently in London and not in town.
