One Reason Why The Jews Do Not Accept Jesus Christ As God - Rev. Fr. Reveals

Reverend Father John Chinenye Oluoma, a Catholic priest based in Abuja, recently shared an important message with believers through a public video. In his message, he addressed the question of why Jews do not accept Jesus Christ as God. With a friendly and understanding tone, Father Oluoma delved into the issue.

Referring to the book of Colossians 1:15, Father Oluoma highlighted the verse that describes Jesus as the "image of the invisible God" and the "firstborn of every creature." While this concept may seem straightforward to Christians, it may not be as easily grasped by Jews and followers of other religions.

Father Oluoma explained that one reason for the Jews' reluctance to accept Jesus as God is rooted in their understanding of God's nature. For centuries, the Jews have viewed God as omniscient and omnipresent, beyond human comprehension, and not confined to the limitations of the world. Suddenly, a man emerges in the flesh, with a well-documented history and a known place of birth, claiming to be God Himself. This stark contrast makes it challenging for the Jews to believe in Jesus' divinity.

Acknowledging their perspective, Father Oluoma empathized with the Jews' struggle to accept this profound idea. He recognized that comprehending the greatness of God would naturally lead to skepticism and hesitation. It takes grace, he suggested, for one to fully embrace the notion that a man who walked the Earth in human form is indeed the same God they worship.

In conclusion, Father Oluoma approached the topic with understanding and compassion, shedding light on the reasons behind the Jews' hesitation to accept Jesus Christ as God. His message emphasized the need for empathy and grace when considering different perspectives on matters of faith.
