Only Funny People Disagree With My Pork And Witchcraft Teachings - Sonnie Badu

Wed, 22 Feb 2023 Source: Club Mate

Reverend Sonnie Badu, founder of Rockhill Chapel and gospel musician, has said that people who disagree with his teachings on witchcraft are funny because he doesn't have to talk about it at all.

Pastor Sonnie Badu has been getting a lot of bad press lately all over the world, but especially in Ghana, for teaching people not to eat pork because it contains witchcraft spirits.

Sonnie Badu said pork was unclean in one of his sermons where he talked about how demons usually attack people who eat unclean food.

"Once the demons find out that you've eaten something unclean, your spirit will fall asleep by itself. When you go to sleep, they come because you let them in". He said that.

Some people say his teachings are not in the Bible, but others say that since Jesus Christ made all things holy in the New Testament, there is nothing wrong with eating pork.

But Pastor Sonnie Badu, in an interview with Angel FM in Kumasi, said he still stands by what he said and that people who criticise his teachings are funny.

"I have everything. I've lived in London, I've lived in America. I've seen everything. God has blessed me, so I don't need anything else from him. I'm happy even if he doesn't bless me again. He has given me a wife and five children. He gave me blessings and a church and I still fill stadiums and go everywhere. But if I, being at the top, tell you that there are things you shouldn't do if you want to come here, the people at the bottom will say you're crazy, you're not thinking right and you're talking nonsense. Sometimes I find that funny because I can choose not to say anything.” Rev. Sonnie Badu told Angel in the Morning host Kwame Tanko that

He also wondered why about 5,000 people go to church and pray to God, but at the end of the year, only a few break through.

At the same time, Pastor Sonnie Badu in his interview hinted that the only thing that stops people from breaking through in their lives is the contamination of the soul.

He insisted that the Bible still begins with the Old Testament and ends with the New Testament. Therefore, he said, people and pastors shouldn't teach only from the New Testament.
