Attorney Maurice Ampaw claims that Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta has been able to clear himself and win over some people who were calling for his resignation after testifying before an ad hoc committee of Parliament last Friday.
Last Sunday, attorney Ampaw said on Wontumi TV that the live broadcast of the motion of censure before Parliament demonstrated how "honest" and "truthful" the Ghanaian Finance Minister is.
“Now some of the people calling for his resignation are having a change of mind”, Lawyer Ampaw said on TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.
A motion of censure recently brought Mr. Ofori-Atta before an ad hoc committee. He is charged with serious economic mismanagement, conflicts of interest, and other offenses.
On last Friday, Ofori-Atta responded to the accusations made against him by the Minority. The Finance Minister was able to defend himself with his justifications when it was his turn to speak before the ad hoc committee of Parliament.
