The Ghana Police Service is currently searching for Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, also known as Tyacoon, for allegedly murdering a 26-year-old woman named Maa Adwoa in Adum, Kumasi. Inspector Twumasi is stationed at the Manhyia Palace as part of the palace security team, and he is also a member of the Ashanti regional police command’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit.

According to police sources, Inspector Twumasi shot Maa Adwoa five times in front of Dufie Towers after a heated argument over her alleged infidelity. Maa Adwoa had reportedly broken up with Inspector Twumasi, who then attempted to reconcile with her to no avail. In a fit of rage, he allegedly pulled out his gun and shot her multiple times until she passed away.

Inspector Twumasi is currently on the run, and the police are working hard to locate him and bring him to justice. Sources from the Manhyia Palace have revealed that he called a driver known as "4040" after the alleged crime and informed him of what he had done. He also reportedly threatened to commit suicide.

The incident has shocked the community, and the police are urging anyone with information about Inspector Twumasi's whereabouts to come forward and assist with the investigation. It's a tragic reminder that domestic violence and gun violence are serious issues that can have devastating consequences.
