Oboy Siki, a popular Kumawood Actor, has found himself in hot water after being accused of making bribery allegations against Mawule Ekpe Peter, also known as Abro, the Public Relation Officer for the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG). Abro is seeking justice by invoking the power of the Esuo Tano Bofoakwa Shrine to deal with Oboy Siki's false accusations.
The disagreement between the two actors started when Oboy Siki accused Abro of being bribed by fellow Kumawood Actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, to defame Dr. Likee. This disagreement came to a head during a live radio program on Kumasi-based Angel Fm, where the two reportedly got into a physical altercation.
Abro's manager, Raphael Essien, also known as Anamon, spoke out about the situation, emphasizing that Oboy Siki had lied and refused to apologize. The camp of Abro gave Oboy Siki a month to apologize, but he refused to do so.
To clear Abro's name and get to the truth of the matter, they traveled to Sunyani with schnapps, eggs, and other items to curse Oboy Siki on Esuo Tano Bofoakwa river. They are calling on the gods to intervene and punish whoever is in the wrong, be it Abro or Oboy Siki.
