In a video, a young American soldier showed that, as an officer, she made more than $100,000 in salaries and other payments.
For the first three months of the year, she made $35,841.72 , and in May, she made $26,725.44.
People who saw her video wanted to know what level she was in the force to make so much money, and some said they wanted to join the force.
@diaryofdom__, a black woman, went online to tell people how much she made as a US soldier in 2022.
In a very short video, she showed how each of her income streams matched the month they came in. For the month of January, she made $8,836,59. The next month, she made the same amount of money.
In March, April, and May, she got BRS continuation pay of $8,986.35, $9,182.19, and $26,725.44, respectively.
Other months were June ($9,182.19), July ($11,458.15 - PCS), August ($9,587.19), September ($9,587.19), October ($9,587.19), November ($9,587.19), and December ($9,587.17).
A quick look at Payscale shows that:
"The average salary for a U.S. Army worker is $65,352 per year. The average salary in the U.S. Army is between $34,460 and $122,608."
The woman told people to check if she was lying. In another clip, she talked about some of the money she made that year.
