The 2020 running mate of the opposition NDC, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, has been told by National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary hopeful, Dela Goldheart, to up her style.
Feminist Ms Goldheart claims women are brutally judged on their looks and that it matters.
"Image matters and our society is harder on women because of it. She could spend the same amount of money and get better clothes, so why not? She composed.
Dela Goldheart, a parliamentary candidate in the Anlo constituency, said she hoped party members wouldn't be offended by her message.

I think Prof. Naana needs to get a better designer and hairdresser (we have so many amazing Ghanaian, West African and African designers who makes Elite clothing). Not that her looks are more important than the work she is doing. But because image matters and our society judges women more harshly for it. Moreover, she could spend the same money but have better outfits so why not?
PS: I do not mean this as a disrespect to her and certainly hope I don’t upset NDC supporters. This is a suggestion made in good faith. I would have mentioned this to her if I had a personal relationship with her but she is way above my periphery so this is my way of doing it
