Rare Picture Of JJ Rawlings Attending A Funeral In 1986 Breaks The Internet

People usually thought of former President Jerry John Rawlings as a person with a lot of charm, but he also had a very unique style.

During his time as leader, J.J. Rawlings wore strange clothes. This started when he was a young boy at Achimota School and continued when he was in charge of the military during the PNDC.

The late Ghanaian president, like those who came before him, always tried to make Ghana known around the world by what he wore.

During his democratic term in office, J.J. Rawlings was rarely seen wearing suits to important events. Instead, he wore traditional smocks or three-piece boubous, or he just threw cloths over his shoulder.

This was the way he dressed up until he died in November 2020.

But a picture from 1986 that has just come to light again shows how the late Ghanaian president had a unique charm and sense of style. The picture was taken at the funeral of former Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, which he went to.

This time, J.J. Rawlings is seen in his military uniform and surrounded by ace lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata, who is being ushered into the service.
