After Eunice's father died, her mother took her to live with her grandparents so they could take care of her because she was not financially stable. She then went to elementary school, and she says that it wasn't until sixth grade that she realized she was different from the other kids.
She realized that she couldn't do some things that her classmates could, like running. One of her classmates asked her why she didn't have legs, and she says that question broke her heart.
She went home crying and told her grandparents. They told her she had been given a different blessing.
Even though she felt sad, life went on, and she asked to be moved to a school where there were other students with disabilities like her. She went to school and then to college, but it was hard for her to find work because of her condition.
Her grandparents were getting old, and she felt like she was making them feel bad, so she moved in with her brother. Because her brother had to work, a family member offered to come help her.
She eventually fell in love with a man and started dating him. He used to come see her almost every day until the unthinkable happened.
When she got home one day, he was on the couch with the person who helped her.
When they saw her, they were shocked and tried to act like they hadn't seen her. Eunice says, "It was the most painful thing I've ever been through because I loved him so much." Later, the boyfriend left without saying why. When she tried to get in touch with him, he told her not to call his phone again and to get rid of all of his photos.
She says that the caretaker felt bad and apologized. She was heartbroken, but she forgave her in the end. Life went on, but she said it was hard for her to find work because of her condition.
She is begging her friends and family to help her start a cosmetics business, which is her passion. She also wants to move in with her sister because her brother is getting married soon and she doesn't want to be a burden on him.
