Dorcas Affo-Toffey, an MP from Jomoro, posted on social media about the death of a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The MP said that Lazarus Appiah, who died, was the Branch Chairman of the Half Assin P. Tobenie Square polling station.

But the cause of death is not known right away.
On her Facebook page, where she told people about the death, she said that Mr. Appiah was very important to the organization of the NDC at Half Assin.
The lawmaker added that he was a hard-working friend who cared about the party.
