It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of veteran Nollywood actor, Don Brymo Uchegbu, at the age of 56. He peacefully departed in his sleep last night, leaving behind a void in the entertainment industry.
The news was confirmed by fellow actor Mayor Ofoegbu, who shared the heartbreaking update on his Facebook page. Alongside a picture of the deceased, Ofoegbu reflected on the transient nature of life, emphasizing the importance of living in the present.
He expressed his shock upon receiving the news in the morning and took the time to verify it with Don Brymo's family. Mayor Ofoegbu fondly referred to the late actor as his "man," his "5 & 6," and bid him a difficult farewell, mourning the loss of a dear friend. Don Brymo Uchegbu hailed from Enugwu Ukwu in Njikoka LGA of Anambra, leaving behind a legacy in Nigerian cinema that will be cherished by his fans and colleagues. May his soul rest in peace.
