"She’s Manipulative, Violent, Uncontrollable” - Says Director Accused Of Domestic Violence

Mon, 2 Jan 2023 Source: Club Mate

Mr. Nuraini Olalekan Onikoyi, a Director at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), was recently accused of telling his housekeepers to let their pet dogs loose on his wife, Emily. The story was published in the Guardian newspaper on December 12, 2022. On the same day, Onikoyi denied the claims, saying that they were false, unrealistic, and spurious.

Mr. Onikoyi says that the story was published in a sneaky way to hurt the good name he has built up over the past 30 years. "Yes, we have been having problems in our marriage, and I have even filed for a divorce, but the court hasn't ruled on it yet." He added.

Mr. Onikoyi, who was telling the story, said, "On the night of November 30, 2022, Mr. Clifford, my personal assistant, let the dogs out of their cage at 7:24 p.m. (This has been a normal practice for over two years, since we've had the dogs, for security, after everyone in the house had come home.) He didn't know that Mrs. Emily Onikoyi, my wife, had gone out again.

"I was eating dinner when I heard a sudden cry for help. I went downstairs right away and saw that the dogs had bitten my wife. I took her to the hospital right away while putting on just my singlet. I asked Clifford what happened, and he said he saw He was washing the car when Madam came home, but he didn't know she had left again until he let the dogs out. "I thought everybody was already inside," he said.

Four days after the incident, on December 4, 2022, Emily's illegitimate son, Darlington Eguriase, brought an unidentified man in a military uniform to the house to attack Clifford by stabbing him until he escaped and locked himself in a room while covered in blood.

"These dogs have lived with us for over two years. I adopted them when they were 6 weeks old, and Emily sometimes feeds them herself, especially during the holidays." What happened was unfortunate and surprising, and it is rare for dogs to directly attack a familiar face the way she was. Mr Onikoyi added.

I have CCTV footage of everything that happened in the house, including how Emily was attacked by the dogs. This footage was given to the DPO and was still being looked at when Emily's family members went to the hospital and took her and the children without telling anyone where they were going.

Emily is dishonest, violent, abusive, out of control, and a manipulator. Mr. Onikoyi went on to say, "Before I legally married her, I saw some red flags, but I chose to ignore them because I loved her anyway."

When I met her, she said she only had one child, which I didn't think was a problem because I also had a child at the time. However, I later found out from an anonymous call that she had three children, which made me feel betrayed, so I kicked her out for seven months. After getting calls from her friends and family members begging me to take her back, I finally gave in and took full responsibility for all of her children, including paying for their education and letting them live with me.

Any time we have a small argument, she says she will beat and deal with me. In fact, there were a number of reports at the Lgbogbo Police station. When we were writing out our statements, she threatened to throw acid on me. The IPO told the DPO right there in the police station about the threat. Because of this, the DPO sent our case to the Lagos State police gender unit. As usual, she was rude in the Domestic Violence unit by taking off her clothes in front of the police officers. This made the officers very angry. The officer in charge of domestic violence was going to take our case to court, but I asked him not to because of what would happen if he did.

Also, in 2014, she went out with her friend Meg, who was a nurse at the general hospital in Ikorodu at the time. She took my car with her, and she said that when she was drunk, the car was taken from her at gunpoint, but she was able to keep her purse and phones. Her claims were hard to believe because the car tracker was taken off the car right away.

Since I married Emily, I've had all of these problems and many more. It's been a roller coaster of problems, and no matter how I try to solve them, she always comes up with more.

During the 2021 Eid il Filtri holiday, Emily went to my children's boarding school, Federal Government College Odogbolu, Ogun state, and met with the school principal. She told the principal that I wasn't their biological father and that I shouldn't be able to see them. This made me get a DNA test and also showed how annoying she was in front of the school principal (Mr Amos Akinpelu). All of this was caught on video by the school principal, who said he would give it to the court if asked to.

She has also hit me and my staff on more than one occasion, which was always reported to the police station.

Emily has always acted like she has a mental illness, and I think she really needs help.
