A man in Kiambu set his whole house on fire by accident while he was supposedly trying to kill a snake that he said had come into his house for unknown reasons.
A reliable news source said that a man named Simon Muchora burned down his house while saying he was trying to get rid of a snake. In the process, he burned down the whole house.
A police report says that the man is fine, but he lost everything when he tried to get rid of the snake.
As for the snake, it has been found out that no one knows if the snake died in the fire that killed people.
Kenyans who talked about this on their different social media accounts criticized the man for putting other people's lives in danger, even though he could have used another method to get rid of the snake, which would have gotten out of his house one way or another.
Most Kenyans said in news reports that it was sad that the man did this, since many people have died in the country in deadly fires that are often started in this way to destroy valuables and, in the worst cases, kill people in the process.
