A video has gone viral on the internet capturing a naming ceremony where a woman's prayer caused quite a stir.
In the video, an anchor was seen praying for the newborn baby and emphasizing the need for the child to become a governor.
However, things took a different turn when she added that embezzlement of money was also part of her wishes for the child. She even went on to put a biro in the baby's hand, saying that the child's name would be among those who would use a pen to steal the money of Nigeria. Netizens have reacted to the video with mixed feelings.
Some felt that the woman should have stopped at the wish for the child to become a governor, while others believed that she was simply using exaggerative language in Yoruba to express her hopes for the child's education. Another user joked that in the end, who wouldn't embezzle money anyway?
