Students Of Holy Child College Boycott Exams

Thu, 1 Dec 2022 Source: Club Mate

Holy Child College of Education students in Sekondi, which is in the Western Region, skipped their test on Thursday, December 1.

Skyy Power 93.5FM has heard that the teachers at the school have been on strike for about three weeks, and the students are worried that they haven't done enough to prepare for the test.

This happened because the University of Cape Coast (UCC) gave the school the test papers for today's exams.

They also say that the exam should be put on hold because the teachers are on strike, which has stopped all school activities.

Dr. Francis Hull Adams, the principal of Holy Child College of Education, told Skyy News that the government will have to talk to the right people to end the strike and keep school running smoothly.

He said, “I am appealing to the government not to relent to bring the people together and come to an amicable solution.”

“The strike has really affected the school, the teachers are not lecturing, counselling and other things they need to do, this is a problem for us and we hope this is resolved.”
