A group of people set fire to a whole house in Krofrom, which is in the Manhyia North Constituency.
The action is thought to be payback for the hacking death of a gang member just 24 hours earlier.
Heavy security has been put in place to keep law and order in the area while the Ashanti Regional Police Command searches for the people who did this.
People in Krofrom are scared and panicked because of the death of the gang member, whose name has only been given as "Candy."
Reports say that his attackers led him to a quiet place where they repeatedly stabbed him. He died on Wednesday, January 25.
On Friday, the family home of one Baffuor, who is thought to be one of the attackers, was set on fire by people in the same gang that killed the man.
People who live in Krofrom say that these kinds of attacks are common in the area.
"There are a lot of gangs here. Retaliation attacks happen a lot. If you attack a gang, you should be ready for them to fight back. "That's how things have always been around here," a local told Ibrahim Abubakar of Media General.
The Ashanti Regional Police Commander, Afful Boakye Yiadom, and his men went to the scene to see what was going on. He asked people for information that would help catch the people who did this.
"We are looking for them with all our might. If you know them or know where they are, please tell the police," said DCOP Afful Boakye.
For now, the area is relatively calm again because police are there to keep the law and order.
