He made these comments following an incident with two policemen from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) seen in a video assaulting a suspect said to have been carrying a bag which contained substances suspected to be marijuana (wee).
The video shared on social media shows the two policemen in their attempt to arrest the suspect kicking and pressing him down.
The way this person was arrested has been called into question by the public.
In a statement released Tuesday night (November 22, 2022), the Police Administration said that the event is being looked into.
It said that the victim had been contacted to help with the investigation and that Inspector Prince Awuah and General Corporal John Ahiamata, both of the Divisional MTTD at Asankrangwa, were the two police officers involved.
It also said that they had been sent to the Police Professional Standards Bureau so that the law could be followed.

"Ghana Police Service, I want to know something. How long will it take us to explain to you that such brutality is unacceptable anywhere in the world in 2022? This is how you murdered a taxi driver in Takoradi and lied that he committed suicide. The most dangerous organisation in this country is the Ghana Police Service. Why? These officers must be arrested immediately, prosecuted, and the victim must be compensated".
