Anyone who relocates to a stunning, tiny town in Italy will receive a £25,000 bonus.
Presicce, a small provincial town in southeast Italy, is offering $1,000 to anyone who will move there and become a new neighbor.
According to CNN, the council is attempting to attract new, creative blood by offering the substantial stipend to anyone willing to establish a new life in the town.
"There are many abandoned residences in the historical center built before 1991 that we would want to see alive again with new residents," stated local councilman Alfredo Palese.
He bemoaned the "slowly emptying" of the historic settlement, which was built during the Middle Ages and is filled with "beautiful architecture and art."
The vacant neighborhood is home to the beautiful natural surroundings of the Salaento area, which is poised on the heel of Italy's boot.
