“This is Why I Stopped Going to Church” People React To What A Pastor Did

Wed, 14 Dec 2022 Source: Club Mate

People often think that black people believe in miracles that happen overnight and like to hear about how successful they will be. Especially the elderly will go crazy for a new prophet who comes to town and pay to have their prayers answered.

Many people have noticed that prophecy seems to be a good way to make money these days. This is why so many false prophets try to get people to listen to them and follow them.

Most of the time, this false prophecy hurts older women the most. Sad to say, our elders put more faith in their pastors than in God. When the preacher tells them to do anything in exchange for a blessing, they do it without question, leaving them open to abuse and exploitation. In the case of abuse, there is a picture that is going around of a pastor who is put on top of a man and is supposedly praying for the man.

There was a picture of a middle-aged pastor sitting on top of a young boy who was preaching into a microphone. Even from the way he poses for pictures, it's clear that the child is not happy. He says that this is the scene that finally made the person who posted this picture leave the chapel. Since the picture went viral, many people have come forward to say that they have had bad experiences with modern pastors.

Keep in mind that this is happening because a story recently went viral about a pastor who said he could get rid of demons by hitting them with a sjambok. I think the people need to be taught that miracles and good things happen because of them, not because of their pastor. People's desire to be blessed or get miracles right away makes them easy targets for these con artists who pretend to be pastors.
