Tragic Accident Leaves Driver and Mate of Cargo Truck in Critical Condition!

A serious accident occurred on the Kasoa-Cape Coast highway near Potsin Junction on Monday afternoon involving a cargo truck carrying soft drinks and mineral water.
The driver and mate of the articulated vehicle were critically injured after the truck lost control and overturned due to a broken axle.
An eyewitness, Yaw Black, who was present at the scene, reported that the accident resulted in the destruction of over 1,000 bottles of beverages worth thousands of cedis. The injured driver and mate were immediately rushed to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for medical attention. To help minimize further damage, another vehicle was brought to the location to offload the remaining products that were still intact.
Additionally, police MTTD were present to help direct traffic on the highway. It is truly unfortunate that this incident occurred, and we hope for a quick recovery for the driver and mate involved in the accident.
