Dr Emmanuel Kojo Jones-Mensa, the CEO of Empire Domus Group, has officially collected his nomination forms to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries in the Keta Constituency.
The candidate says he has taken into account what he calls the lack of development in the constituency, high levels of poverty, high levels of youth unemployment, falling standards of education and further decline.
He believes that the problems he lists can only be solved by changing the way people think.
In a statement, Dr Jones-Mensa said he had spent a lot of time talking to key people in the Keta Constituency, both at home and abroad, as well as some NDC branch executives. He said this has given him a very clear idea of how the constituency should strategically approach its leadership.
He said he was a committed member of the NDC and it was his duty to do what he could to improve the lives of his constituents and bring real development to the people of Keta.
His campaign is based on getting the Keta constituency to work together, develop and care for each other.
