Usain Bolt Scammed: Missing Millions From Investment Account, Manager Says

The legendary sprinter Usain Bolt seems to have lost a lot of money from his account, which The Guardian says is the subject of an investigation.

The case is being looked into by Jamaica's Financial Investigations Division and Financial Services Commission. A huge fraud investigation is focused on a former Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) worker who has not been named. Nugent Walker, Bolt's manager, says that this person may have something to do with the money that went missing from Bolt's account at the company.

SSL has told the police about what's going on.

The former employee's lawyer said that her client has been "talking with SSL and the lawyers for SSL" for the past two weeks.

Usain Bolt just found out that a Jamaican investment firm has lost millions of dollars from his account. There is an investigation going on.

"All the right steps have been taken to figure this out," Walker said, adding that Bolt didn't find out about the problems until Wednesday.

"He has worked for this company for over 10 years. His entire portfolio is being reviewed," Walker said. He would not say how much money is missing because the investigation is still going on.

Bolt, who was 36 when he retired in 2016, made $33 million in the year before he stopped running.

Bolt is known as one of the best track athletes of all time. He holds world records in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay.
