The Onua TV presenter wasn't allowed to walk up to the Asantehene's throne and shake his hand.
Many people are surprised by the scene and are trying to figure out why he wasn't allowed to get any closer.
Most Ghanaians want to shake the Asantehene's hand and talk to him. So it's not surprising to see Captain Smart trying to shake the Asantehene's hand.
In the latest popular video, Captain Smart tried to approach the Asantehene but wasn’t allowed to get close to him.
People saw the media star and his entourage walking up to the Asantehene to shake his hand.
Just as he and his colleagues were about to walk up to the Asantehene's throne and shake his hand, an elderly man in traditional Kente cloth stopped them.
There was a brief conversation between the two, during which the man may have told Captain Smart why he wasn't allowed to shake the Asantehene's hand.
Many important people were let in, but Captain Smart was not. He could only bow from a distance. He respectfully bowed to the king and left the scene.
The video, shot at the Akwasidae, is going viral as netizens try to figure out what happened and why he wasn't allowed to shake hands.
