Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, a Ghanaian pastor, has cautioned the Minister for Roads and Highways Kwasi Amoako Atta for stopping to collect road tolls.
The founder and head pastor of Alabaster International Ministries said that Hon. Amoako-Atta and his friends wouldn't be able to cost the state money without getting caught.
During his sermon at his church (Alabaster House Chapel) on Sunday, the dynamic and prolific preacher made a strong claim that the current generation would take matters into their own hands and make sure that Amoako-Atta went to jail for his careless and reckless decision to stop collecting road tolls in the country.
The Bible-preaching Prophet Dr. Oduro has said bad things about President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. He has also said bad things about some of the things he did as leader, like burning big pieces of equipment like excavators. He said that the President and some of the people he chose to work for him are still making the country worse by how they act.
"I've taken some time to think about opportunities we missed... God has given this country a lot of good things, like gold, bauxite, diamonds, and all kinds of wood, but people are still suffering. Let me tell you about some of the wastes in this country: the tollbooths have been open for a year straight, and people from Burkina Faso, Togo, and other places drive on our streets for free. What a waste! And then another decision: We arrest people during galamsey, pour gasoline on their excavators, and set them on fire. You don't even have graders to level roads. The smart thing to do would be to take the excavators, sell them, and use the money to buy a grader or payloader and put it to work. There are many assemblies that don't have excavators, so give them yours. What a waste! "I'm telling this government and the opposition, both of you: this generation will chase you, I'm standing on this alter and you are all witnesses, one day, a people will come and bring this Roads Minister and all his accomplices to jail, you'll say I told you: there's a heartless generation, you may be an old man dying, but they'll bundle you and throw you in jail for causing financial loss to the state," the outspoken preacher said
So, Prophet Dr. Oduro asked President Akufo-Addo to help his cabinet make the most of the time and the season, because he thought that Akufo-Addo and his ministers would never have another chance like this one.
