Former Minister of Science, Environment, Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has decided to give Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, some friendly advice instead of engaging in a back and forth banter over his galamsey report.
In the report, Prof. Frimpong-Boateng accused Oppong Nkrumah of plotting to bring him down while he served as Chairman of the now-dissolved Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM). However, Oppong Nkrumah has denied the allegations, describing them as false and disappointing. Instead of rebutting Oppong Nkrumah's response, Prof. Frimpong-Boateng offered him some fatherly advice.
Prof. Frimpong-Boateng reminded Oppong Nkrumah that political power is temporary and that he should do his work diligently, avoid coded and evil tactics, and treat others with respect.
He also attached a video of a galamsey site with someone speaking in the background and accusing Oppong Nkrumah of owning a galamsey site. Despite the allegations, Prof. Frimpong-Boateng forgives Oppong Nkrumah and hopes that he will reflect on his own actions and comments.
