A sea of people escorted Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia today as he filed his nomination at the New Patriotic Party headquarters.
The "Digital Man," who was addressing during the submission of his nomination to run for NPP President, said that he never arrived where he is today by accident.
He said that in order to succeed, he had to go through both good and bad times in life.
Vice President Bawumia admitted that in order to make ends meet, he had to clean dorms at Canada.
"To get where I am now, I had to practice discipline, devotion, and hard work. Never once did I get it handed to me. For me, it's been a very trying rollercoaster ride. But I never wavered in my dedication or commitment.
I have traveled great distances to attend school and have performed menial tasks that no one would have ever imagined I would do, such as driving a minicab, working in a warehouse, and cleaning dorms while I was in Canada, among other things, he said.
stating that his success in life has been a result of God's grace.
